GROUP (MICRO MISSIONS) APPLICATION
Bring your Group to the Crossroads Chapel to serve together with our Volunteers!
Your Group can impact thousands of lives with the love of Christ ... year round and during the Minnesota State Fair.
Your Team can also bring 10-20 people to fill all regular Volunteer positions (limit to 6 per shift please), and training will be provided for your Group by our Staff.
Thank you for volunteering your time, energy, and service! We appreciate your willingness to serve with us.
All Volunteers 18 and older are required to submit a Volunteer Application. Children under the age of 18 are not required to submit a Volunteer Application. However, an adult must submit an Volunteer Application for children under the age of 18.
Volunteers who participate at the Crossroads Chapel during the Minnesota State Fair are required to attend an Orientation. You will be advised of the Orientation’s dates and times, so you may choose which Orientation you wish to attend. You will also be able to sign up for the day(s) and time(s) you wish to volunteer.
If you would like to volunteer in the Prayer Ministry, review the Prayer Ministry Guidelines. This position requires approval from Crossroads Leadership.
We encourage children to participate in volunteering, as this sets the stage for their continued volunteering service through out their life. Children 8-12 will be scheduled to be with their parent(s) or chaperone(s) as an assistant. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Volunteer Shifts During the Minnesota State Fair are 8:30am-1:00pm, 1:00pm-5:00pm, 5:00pm-9:00pm

Year Around
Cleaning Team
Help provide a welcome environment at the Crossroads Chapel. Cleaning is done various times throughout the year and during the Minnesota State Fair as needed.
Maintenance Team
Assist with Building Maintenance throughout the year.
Building Construction
Assist with Building Remodeling and Construction Projects throughout the year.
Micro Missions Teams
Help get the Crossroads Chapel ready for summer events. Bring your team of volunteers to help with our buildings projects in the spring/summer. We will help design your micro missions trip based on your team's skills and finances.
During the Minnesota State Fair
Kids Zone
Help kid’s make a craft or provide assistance in a variety of activities for children. All activities are Christ themed.
Welcome Desk
Hand out Bibles, CDs, and Crossroads Chapel information to visitors. You should be engaging and outgoing, and able to show the compassion of Christ.
Technology
Work with the Tech Team to provide assistance with Sound, Lights, Video, and Computer Administration.
Prayer Station
Minister to the prayer needs of those who ask us to pray for them. Offer them love, hope, peace, and a Word of Life from the Lord God Almighty. Prayer Ministry Guidelines
Gift Store
Do you have retail sales experience? Our Gift Store is very busy, and needs your help!
Hospitality
Help with food preparation for volunteers and staff, and help keep our kitchen clean.
Micro Missions Teams
